Meet Honey & Co

Honey & Co started as one small London kitchen, opened by chefs and partners Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer. A neighborhood spot built on warmth, craft, and Middle Eastern flavors that drew lines down the street.

Over a decade later, Honey & Co is a family of five restaurants across London. Same warmth, same craft, just a much bigger team to run it.

That growth was the source of their hardest problem. As sites multiplied, staying connected as one team got harder, not easier. For a brand whose identity is built on closeness, the comms tool they were using was actively eroding the thing they cared about most.

Itamar Srulovich, co-founder of Honey & Co, knew it had to change.

"We've got teams spread across five busy sites (kitchens, counters, front-of-house), and for a long time, we were running everything through WhatsApp. It just got messy. Messages would come through at all hours, and it was harder to really switch off. Moving to Blink completely changed that. It keeps work separate from personal life, so everyone stays connected without the chaos. It's made our days calmer, happier, and honestly, a lot more joyful."

The problem: WhatsApp at all hours, across every site

Like most growing hospitality groups, Honey & Co had defaulted to WhatsApp. It was the obvious tool. Everyone already had it. Group chats spun up quickly. But the same things that made it easy made it impossible.

Messages came through at every hour. Work bled into evenings and days off. Updates got buried in chains of replies. And the line between staff WhatsApp and personal WhatsApp didn't exist, which meant the team could never really switch off.

For a small kitchen that was fine. For five sites and a growing team, it wasn't.

The solution: a single home for work, that stays at work

Honey & Co rolled out Blink as a dedicated home for everything operational. The feed for announcements. Chat for shift-level coordination. The Hub for the standards and recipes everyone needs to find fast. All of it sitting in an app that exists for work, and doesn't leak into the rest of life.

For Itamar, the impact wasn't just operational. It was about wellbeing.

"In hospitality, the pace never really stops. There's always another service, another message, another detail to sort. What Blink gave us was space to breathe. It separates work from the rest of life, so our team can focus fully when we're in the kitchen, and properly switch off when we're not. That balance has made such a difference. People are more connected, and we've found more joy in what we do. Blink didn't just make us more organised, it made work feel lighter."

The result: scale without losing the magic

The Honey & Co team is now one of the most engaged customer bases Blink has. 100% of staff are active every month. The average user opens the app 40 times a day. Across five sites, the team sends 20,000 messages a month, every one of them now in a place that respects the line between work and home.

But the metric Itamar tracks isn't a number on a dashboard. It's whether the brand still feels like the brand.

"As we've grown from one little restaurant to five sites across London, staying connected as a team has become one of our biggest challenges. Blink has been a game changer for that. It keeps everyone, chefs, bakers, front-of-house, in the loop without overwhelming them. Communication feels easy and human, not like another task to manage. For us, it's helped preserve the sense of togetherness we had when we were just one small kitchen. Growth is only worth it if you can bring your team with you, and Blink helps us do exactly that."
